

HALL, JR., James Alvin Age 73 of Hermitage, passed away June 9, 2012. He was a faithful, loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather. James was recognized as the first Black State Trooper in Tennessee. He was a devoted member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, where he and his family worshiped for 33 years. Preceded in death by parents, James Alvin Hall, Sr. and Annie Knight; brothers, Keith, Charles and Ricci Hall. He leaves to cherish, a devoted wife, Lora Hall; daughter, Maco (Barry) Haynes; son, Alfonza (Kim) Hall; daughter, Jamie Hall; brothers, Johnny Hall (Marie), Jimmy Hall (Veva); sisters, Wilma J. Hall (Jesse), Vivian L. Jiles; grandchildren, Tony Murrell, Brianna Hall, De'Shawn Haynes, Alfonza Hall, Jr., Loren Craig, Makel Hall, Brooklynn Davis and great- grandchildren, Dayton, Lia, and Johnysha Murrell; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
