Jim,It's 2022. Learned of your passing 6 months ago. You were my boss selling guitars in the Music Store on Nolensville Rd. You and Charlie treated everyone with great respect. I still think about the store and experience I got on how important it was to know how to open the Deal then Close the deal ! It sticks with me today!  You all were the best. My prayers to the family.  How hard to lose Jimmy so young.
I played in " The Graduates Band" 1970-71. Jimmy and Charlie Shrader found me playing in a Duo in Nashville, in March/April 1970. Complete southern gentleman, Jimmy and Charlie came to Lebanon to meet my parents, to assure them they would take care of me, I was 19 at the time. I met them on Nolensville Rd, and loaded my drums in the Graduate Travel Trailer, and we went on the road, Oh so many memories we shared. So much fun playing music with them, from Nashville to all over up north, and south all over, to Miami. I will never forget. Jimmy and Charlie were mentor's to me. Jimmy and Charlie were all business and so professional, (but knew how to have fun). I see how Jimmy and Charlie became so successful in the Music Store business. I miss my friend, even though we loss contact over the years, ( I didn't find out about his passing till Aug 2020 ), the memories we shared as fellow musicians has lasted a lifetime.

I worked for Jimmy and Charles and ran Nashville Used Musical Instruments when it first opened down the street from Music City Music. Great Guy, always helpful and he treated me like family (Really). Hated to hear he had passed. Was looking him up to touch base again when I found out. I will never forget him folks. God's richest blessings for his family. Steve Jobe.

I really enjoyed working with and getting to know Jim over the past few years. He will be greatly missed!

Jimmy was a great friend, I enjoyed playing music with him in "the Graduates" 
we had such good times, he was funny and a great musician. I have often thought of Jimmy in the past, He will be miss.  My prays are with his family.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of such a good friend and someone that I had so much fun working with for all my years with Nashville Used Music. I think of those days often and of the times Jim, Charlie and I spent traveling to the trade shows and I am always proud of the work we did together. He will always be a great memory to me. My thoughts go out to all of his family whom I also enjoyed knowing and spending time with. He will be missed by many.
