Jane Nelson Bradley, age 65, died at Summit Hospital on Sunday morning July 17, 2022. Jane was born on January 19, 1957 to Morris and Stella Nelson in Nashville, TN. She graduated from McGavock High School in 1975
In her younger days she loved hiking, four wheeling and entertaining friends and family at their "camp" at Land Between the Lakes. She did all kinds of crafts, wood working, crocheting, doll making and sewing. She loved the mountains, especially Cades Cove and all the wildlife. She enjoyed feeding and watching hummingbirds and flower gardens that Jimmy plants for her each year. She loved the beach, car racing, playing cards with friends, photography and reading. Jane was very loving and thoughtful to others. She was always the "life of the party". She was a mom to many, she enjoyed and loved all the "boys" who grew up in and around the house. She enjoyed feeding them, giving them advice, and watching them grow into men along side her two boys.
The Bradley’s had a special group of friends that Jane was always in the center of and loved like her own. She was plain spoken and said what was on her mind. She was a wonderful cook and took food to family and friends when they were sick.
She is survived by her loving husband of 42 years, James Bradley; sons Josh (Amanda) Bradley and Tommy Bradley. Grandchildren Jess, Jake, Jenna, Aaron, Melissa, Braelyn, Adler James, Jace and Ayrianna. Her sister Dana (Bobby) and nephews Alex and Danny. There are too many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends to list.
Visitation will be at Hermitage Funeral Home Memorial Gardens on Friday July 22nd from 11:00 AM – 12:00 Noon. Where services will be at held at 12:00 noon. Burial to follow at the International Order of Oddfellows cemetery in Baxter, TN.
