ODEN, Jennifer Brown, age 41 died on August 20, 2012 after a short illness. She is survived by daughter, Jessica Oden; parents, Michael and Dr. Janet Brown; brother Tony Brown ; aunt and uncle Kenneth and Faye Vann; niece, Brittany Brown; special friend, Adam Robertson. Jennifer is a 1989 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School and continued with her education at Trevecca, receiving a B.S. and Masters Degree. Prior to her death, Jennifer was Operations Manager for CTDI and had been employed there for 18 years. Jennifer was a friend to everyone and was a kind and loving person. She will truly be missed by all. Special thanks to Dr. Dorfman and Dr. Toby Smith, nurses Nicci, Mary Beth, Karla, Beverly, Kate and Tiffany of Summit Surgical ICU. Your skill and compassionate care for Jennifer is greatly appreciated. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, August 22, 6-8pm at Hermitage Chapel. Services will be Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 9am, with Bro. Bobby Devine officiating. Interment will follow at Crestwood Cemetery in Gadsden, Alabama.
