She is preceded in death by parents, Boss & Ethel Wilkerson; daughter, Pam Snell Walden, and siblings, Betty, Sue, Clyde, and Jim.
She is survived by daughters, Jennifer Norton and Stephanie Snell; grandchildren, Jake Walden and Megan Walden; son in law, Lance Walden; siblings, Evelyn Kirby and W.N. Wilkerson, and a host of family and friends.
Jewell loved to travel, especially to the beach, and relax with her toes in the sand. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend, and will truly be missed by all.
Visitation will be Friday, September 22, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
The Celebration on Life Service will be Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Hermitage Funeral Home.
