My Heart and Prayers goes out to Joan's Family. May GOD wrap you ALL in his arms and Comfort you All in this time of loss and pain.
Joan was a Very Special Friend to me. She was the most Caring, Kind, Compassionate, Giving Beautiful Lady I have ever known. Everytime you seen her it was never without that Beautiful Smile she had, that never left her face. There was no one she new that she didn't Touch in some way.
I meet Joan, Denise , Kelly and Doug almost 40 years ago.
I'm Very Honored and Blest to have known Joan and still being blest in knowing Denise, Kelly and Doug along with other Family Members I have meet along the way.
I would go over and just sit and talk to Joan and we'd would just talk for ever and laugh, it was so much fun. Joan also helped me in a time of need. She was just a Wonderful Life.
Love to All the Family May GOD be with you All.
Joan Thanks for Honoring Me with Just Knowing You. Go To GOD Now In Peace Forever More. Receive Your Wings You So Well Deserve.
We All Will See You Soon...
You Will Always Have A Place In My Heart...
You Will Never Be Forgotten...

This photo was taken in 2013 after I was reunited with my daughter and we came to visit Joan, who was my labor coach when I delivered Jessica Lynn Murray...Joan was there for me every step of the way including the hard decision to surrender my daughter for adoption. Words can never express the comfort that Joan extended to me in the years I lived in Tennessee. She was ALWAYS there for me...and for my son, who adored "Nama." In the photo, Joan Santoro, Jessica Lynn Murray, Joan Swearingen and Marcy Jankovich.

My heart is broken that I cannot be there to hug all of you. Joan was my sister in spirit. We shared many tears and we also shared great joy. We also had many adventures. I remember going with Scenic Sound Productions to Jackson Tennessee to video the Re-enactment of the Battle of Parkers Crossroads. We laughed so hard my sides hurt for three days. Simple memories come to mind...we had a walking routine and we would do a silly workout to Richard Simmons several times a week when I lived across the street. I was very busy Saturday but thought of Joan as I worked a booth for The Well Armed Woman and I knew she would like how we decorated the booth. I even picked up the phone to call her on SUNDAY just to tell her I missed her and that she was on my mind. Joan was an entertainer through and through. Her parties were epic. I remember one where she had TWO bands play - one on each end of the pool - and when one stopped the other would start. Then we had those times in the corvette at the Stockyard sitting at Buddy Killen's table. I can't quite yet fathom that she is not going to be there on the other end of the phone to give me grandma advice for my grandson. I KNOW she is with our Lord. Rest in Peace Joan. See you in Heaven.
