Ronnie is survived by wife, Judy Smith; son, Jared Smith (Erin); daughter, Mandy Sherrill (Ryan); grandchildren, Lane & Tate Smith, Caroline & Briggs Sherrill; step-daughter, Amy Fortner (George); step-son, Nathan Helms (Misty); step-grandchildren Grace, George Thomas, & Abigail Fortner, Abby & Bradley Layhew.
Ronnie was a graduate of Madison High School in 1964 and loved playing football. He was a retired employee of Peterbilt Motors. Ronnie was also an active member of Inglewood Baptist Church. He cherished his time with family and friends. There will be a Gathering of Family & Friends at Hermitage Funeral Home from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM. The visitation will be followed by a Celebration of Life in the Tulip Grove Chapel at the funeral home at 2:00 PM with Dr. Kevin Shrum officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
