Joseph (Joe) Allen Paty, Sr., 72 of Mt. Juliet, passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2020. He was born to the parents Dudley and Dorothy Paty, on December 24, 1947 in Nashville, TN. He was a graduate of Donelson High School Class of 1968. Joe worked as a Shipping Clerk, after 30 years of service, he retired from Ford Glass Plant in 2002. He enjoyed fishing, attending UT football games with his wife and watching the Atlanta Braves games. Joe is survived by his wife, Victoria Paty, son Joseph Allen Paty, II (Jennifer), son Jeffrey Scott Paty (Michelle), daughter, Joely Dianne Poore (Chris). Grandchildren: Jordan, Dylan, Savannah, Zakkary, Trey, Jayden, Logan, Christopher, Truleigh, and great grandsons Caiden, and Jameson. He was preceded in death by his father, Dudley Paty, mother, Dorothy Paty, and brother Curtis Paty. The family will receive friends at Hermitage Funeral Home on Saturday, March 14.2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and also on Sunday, March 15, 2020 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Living Springs Baptist Church, in Mt.Juliet, TN, with the funeral service starting at 2:00 PM. Brother Edgar Boles will officiate the ceremony.
