Joy “Like to the World” Belinda Gallegos, age 63 of Old Hickory, TN passed away July 20, 2016. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Imojene (Cooper) McKissick and her brother, Monty McKissick. She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Steven Gallegos; cousins, Tina Oman and Sharon Breeding.
Joy was born in Columbia, TN and went to school in Nashville, TN. She was a member of Hermitage United Methodist Church. She had worked for several years in the music business as a song plugger for Gehl Force Music and BMG Music.
A Celebration of Life service will be 6:00 pm Friday, July, 29, 2016 at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN with Rev. Gaylon Butler officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm till 6:00 on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be 10:00 am Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Polk Memorial Gardens in Columbia, TN.
