

She was born on December 30, 1927 at Yellow Creek, Tennessee in Dickson County, the daughter of the late Arthur Moore and Azalee Lovette Adams.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, James E. Patterson Sr along with her seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Charles B. Hingst; three sons, James E. “Pat” Patterson and his wife, Jane, Jack E. Patterson and his wife, Jeannie, and Jay E. Patterson and his wife, Carol; seven grandchildren, Joseph Eric Patterson and his wife, Christine, Jeffrey Evan Patterson and his wife, Ashleigh, Adam Eugene Patterson, James Emory Patterson and his wife, Laura, and Megan Koran Zeoli and her husband, Dave, Brackney Towns Gregory, Taylor Brooke Gregory; four great grandchildren, Banks and Caroline Patterson, and Ellie and Penny Zeoli.
Additionally, she is survived by three step-daughters, Linda Hingst Pinion (deceased), and her husband Philip, Susan Hingst Martel, and her husband Doug, Ellen Hingst Wheat, and her husband, Jeremy, nephew George Omar Walton IV and great niece Tiffany Tines Harris, their families along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at Hermitage Funeral Home from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm, and also on Friday, April 14, 2017 at The Donelson Fellowship from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
The Celebration of Life Service will be on Friday, April 14, 2017 at The Donelson Fellowship, 3210 McGavock Pike, Nashville, Tennessee 37214, at 1:00 pm with Senior Pastor Robert Morgan officiating.
Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Donelson Fellowship, Gentiva Hospice or Cincinnati Shrine Burns Hospital.
