

She was born on February 15, 1949, in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of Wilma Jean Hall Patterson and the late Joe Patterson. She worked for the Metro Police Department as an Administrative Assistant, and she retired after 27 years of service. She was an avid sports fan, and more specifically, a football fan. Judy’s two grandchildren, who she adored so dearly, affectionately called her “Pooh.” She loved her family, pets and spending time at the beach or at the ocean. Judy never met a stranger and had an outgoing personality.
In addition to her father, Joe Patterson, she is preceded in death by her infant brother, Joe Gregory Patterson.
She is survived by her mother, Wilma Patterson; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Julie Alexander; granddaughter, Lauren Alexander, and grandson, Jacob Alexander.
Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Hermitage Funeral Home from 9:00 am until 12:00 pm.
The Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 pm in the chapel of Hermitage Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
The Alexander Family will accept flowers or memorial contributions to be made in memory of Judy to a charity of your choice.
