Kenneth Carthel Lannom

Kenneth Carthel Lannom, age 89, of Old Hickory, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023 at TriStar Summit Hospital. He was born on January 16, 1934 in Nashville, Tennessee to parents, Roy Lannom and Cathlene Dobbs.

Mr. Lannom was a 1952 graduate of Dupont High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He worked and retired from the Ford Glass Plant and was a dedicated member of Broadmoor Baptist in Nashville.

Mr. Lannom is predeceased by his father, Roy Lannom; his mother, Cathlene Dobbs; and his loving wife of 50 years, Dorothy Ann Lannom. He is survived by his his son, Ricky Lannom, and daughter, Sandy Bridgemon; three grandchildren Belinda Bridgemon, Alisia Smith, and Jacob Smith.

There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends Wednesday, October 4, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will begin on Thursday, October 5, at 12:00 PM in the Tulip Grove Room at the funeral home. Following the service, Mr. Lannom will be laid to rest in the Garden of Faith at Hermitage Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN 37138.
