Larry “Glen” Eastes, 75, was born on June 26, 1943, in Smith County. On May 26, 1969, he married the love of his life, Janet Mofield Eastes. She survives along with his son, Marty, and family, including, wife Diana, and grandsons, Layne, and Jeremy.
He worked as a barber, and a farm equipment salesman. He enjoyed watching westerns, football, and talking about politics. He maintained a garden each year, and grew the best tomatoes in Tennessee. He made it his mission to help everyone prosper in the family, and he worked hard to bring his family together.
On January 4, 2019, he breathed his last breath at Skyline Hospital in Madison, Tennessee. Glen was known as a humble and generous person, who held himself to high ethical and moral standards. We will miss his humor and his wit, and are proud to carry our memories of him with us as his legacy. He will be missed.
