Preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Brown; parents, James and Genevieve Short; children, Christy (Ryan) Jones, Justin Brown; siblings, Felicia (Kevin) Schosker, Joanne (Fred) York, Veronica (Bennie) Heath, Mark (Sharon) Short; 2 grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
Laura was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend she always was encouraging, and no matter what always saw the silver lining in all. She loved spending time with family whether she was cooking, spending time outdoors or drinking coffee with family she did it with a smile. Laura will truly be missed by many.
Gathering of family and friends Monday, October 29, 2018 4pm until 8pm and one hour prior to service on Tuesday.
Celebration of Life Service Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 2pm in the Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel with Interment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Laura's honor to St Jude Childrens' Hospital.
