Lee Warren Forsythe, 63, passed away on June 26, 2026. Born on November 2, 1962, in Hanover, Pennsylvania, Lee grew up in Pennsylvania before moving to Nashville, Tennessee in his twenties. In time, he made his home in Mount Juliet, Tennessee.
In the steady, everyday ways that matter most, Lee lived with a kind heart and a faithful, devoted spirit. He was thoughtful in how he showed up for others—dependable, hard-working, and quietly selfless, with a love that did not seek attention but left a lasting mark. Those who knew him best will remember how deeply he cared, and how naturally compassion guided his choices.
For more than twenty years, Lee worked at and then became the maintenance supervisor for an apartment complex in Hermitage TN, a role that suited his dependable nature and tireless work ethic. He took genuine pride in making repairs for his tenants, approaching each task with care, patience, and a thoughtful attention to detail. His compassion showed in the everyday ways he looked after others—often making trips to the grocery store for tenants who were unable to make the trip themselves, to even getting a spider out of a kitchen light late at night. It was never just about fixing what was broken; it was about showing up, being faithful to the needs in front of him, and doing the work with a selfless heart.
That same hands-on devotion carried into his personal life. Lee loved fixing anything, and there was comfort in his ability to make things work again. He was also a perfectionist about cleaning and genuinely enjoyed it—bringing order, care, and a sense of calm to the spaces around him. In relaxing moments, he enjoyed music, and he could easily settle in with horror and action movies, savoring the familiar rhythms of the stories he liked.
Lee was preceded in death by his father, Merle Forsythe, and his mother, Virginia Warren Forsythe. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Crystal Forsythe; daughter, Parker Dunn (Kevin); son, Liam Glenn; grandchildren, Charleigh Dunn, Thatcher Dunn, Beckham Dunn, Layden Hill, Camdyn Price; canine companions, Dexter & Roxie; and feline companion, Squish.
