Linda R Hentz

Linda was a member and faithful servant of Dodson Chapel Methodist Church. When the church was lost due to the March 2020 tornado, Linda worked through her grief by working tirelessly in the church Food Pantry. She was a member UMW, AARP and Grief and Loss Committees, in which she gave much and helped many.

Linda retired from Service Merchandise, and long after, for many years, enjoyed organizing the annual picnic for SMC employees and friends. After retirement, Linda was a proud volunteer at Summit Hospital in Hermitage for several years. Linda also loved to travel and she had many adventures with her sister, Martha, and friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde W. Hentz (Joe); her parents, William Earl McCrory and Iris Christine McCrory.

Linda is survived by her sons, Billy (Debbie) Hentz of Mt. Juliet, Chris (Renee) Hentz of Hermitage, Eddie (Valerie) Hentz of Hermitage; her sister, Martha McCrory Miller of Clarksville. She is also survived by grandchildren Nick, Crystal, Jordan, Paige and Gabbie; great-grandchildren Bryan, Brinley, Syler, Raeann, Kingston, and Gresham; two nephews and one niece; also, many cousins dear friends.

Pallbearers are Mark Harrington, Tracy Dougherty, Dennis White, Jason Miller, James Conn, Thomas Hatchett, Jerry Farrar, and Nathan Miller.
