I met Linda through the HHH FELLOWS at Peabody.  She was a joy to be around.  Her enthusiasm was infectious.  

She is sorely missed

Linda was a beautiful soul whose story, shared during my Humphrey Fellowship year 2016-2017, impacted me in a life-changing way. May her family be comforted by the memories that live on in her amazing life journey and legacy. 

Rest in peace sweet Linda.

Her love of life was infectious.  I was blessed to have been in her shadow.  

May perpetual light shine upon her.

Linda C. Ragsdale's life experience as a victim of a terrorist attack in Mumbai, India in November, 2008, her student, 14 year old Naomi killed in the assault, led in a long circuitous way, to her sponsoring in part Kim Phuc's Library in Vietnam. Linda's Peace Dragon Mission lives on and we will return to Kim's Library November 2023 with Linda's Memory in mind. Her books and gifts along with a major donation live in the Memory of the educators in this Village in Quang Ngai, Vietnam. Kim Phuc will be remembered as a victim of a naplam bombing in Trang Bang, Vietnam June 8, 1972, captured by Nick Ut, Associated Press Photojournalist (Pulitzer Prize Recipient). He and Kim attended this Dedication February 17, 2023. Sincerest condolences from Kim, (Toronto, Canada), Nick (Los Angeles) and the Library Project (Milwaukee). We had plans for her Peace Dragon books at Kim's Library---we continue with Linda's Legacy!

Peace, courage, 💕 love, and prayers for the family during this difficult time.  Love for her is strong.

Whenever I see dragons, I will always remember Linda and her Peace Dragons. Thank you, Linda, for spreading peace and love in this life that has often not been kind to you. Rest in peace 🩷
