I have very fun memories of visiting Uncle Louie as a kid. I remember his huge smile and heart. I cherish the many stories I've heard growing up of my mom (Anna) and Louie's adventures. He was always quick to take care of all his sisters. He was a remarkable person who made you feel welcome and at ease. The sparkle in his eyes when he told stories was the best. His love for his family and life were evident in the way he lived and loved.

Louie Jr., your dad loved you fiercely. He instilled in you the values you carry today. He was so proud of all you've accomplished. Know that although he's not physically here, he's with you always. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

I will always remember Louie as a big teddy bear. He gave the best bear hugs and had a way of making you feel everything will be alright. He loved with all his heart and soul, especially when it came to Earlene and Louie Jr. Rest In Peace Teddy Bear! I will always think of you!

I was blessed to work with Louie at Music City Mortuary. We were usually the first to arrive and I enjoyed listening to Louie Stories before he 'snuck out' to McDonald's for his coffee. He was always a positive influence in my day and willing to help no matter the job. I'm sure he's sparring with Muhammad Ali this very moment and saying, "Wow, what a life!"
