Luana "Kim" Armstrong, 57, of Nashville, TN passed away in Summit Hospital on December 11, 2020. Kim was born in Franklin, TN on November 13, 1963 to Georgia Sue Kimbro and Joe Allen Armstrong. Kim attended McGavock High School.
Kim's greatest attribute was being a thoughtful encourager. She was known for her service to widows and widowers and the elderly, whether it was singing to a shut-in on the phone or sending hundreds of cards each year to brighten someone's day. Kim was a member of Mount Juliet Church of Christ.
Kim is survived by her mother Georgia Sue Stoddard, her father Joe (Jeanine) Armstrong, sister Michelle (Greg) Myers, brother Jeffrey (Marlaina) Stoddard, nephews Jacob (Mallory) Myers, Will Myers, and Talan Stoddard, aunt Mary Kelley, stepsisters Pam (Jack) Fromm, Cheryl McClaran, Sharla (Mark) Davey. Also left behind to cherish her memory are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Kim was preceded in death by her stepfather Harry Stoddard, Grandparents Mattie Lou and Floyd Kimbro, and Fred and Elva Armstrong. She was a devoted friend, daughter, sister, niece and aunt to her nephews.
Remembrances may be made in the form of charitable donations to Disabled American Veterans.
Graveside services will be held at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Service will be private for immediate family only.
