Margaret Keel

Mrs. Keel graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi and majored in Home Economics. She retired from the Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee in September 1995. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, and everything family.

Mrs. Keel is preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard David Keel; her parents, Erna and Carr Magee; her brother, Daniel Magee; and her sister, Patricia Coles.

Mrs. Keel is survived by her daughter, Nancy Catherine Keel Rivers (Jeffrey); her son, Richard Durham Keel; grandchildren Jeffrey Michael Rivers, Jr. (Allison), Emily Rivers, and Michelle Rager (Darren); and great grandchildren Collin Rivers, K.J. Neltner, Kristen Neltner, and Vera Rager.

There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 10:30am-11:00am at Hermitage Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will begin at 11:00am in the Tulip Grove Room at the funeral home with Dr. Jud Hays officiating. Following the service, Mrs. Keel will be laid to rest in the Garden of Memories Mausoleum at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
