

He Fox will be remembered as a devoted husband, father and grandfather who loved his family unconditionally. Mr. Fox was a member and deacon at Edgefield Baptist Church. He made sure everyone knew the Lord. Leo was the patriarch of his family. He had a long career in banking; he retired from Regions Bank as a financial advisor. In his free time he enjoyed watching basketball, especially the Mets and Vanderbilt even in the bad years. He also refereed high school basketball and played church softball. In his retirement, he was a member of the 3 M Boy’s “Three Mediocre Music Makers”. They enjoyed entertaining resident in assisted living and retirement homes.
He leaves behind his loving wife Mary Fox; daughters Lynn (Kevin) Wood and Jennifer Fox; grandson Jurel (Rebecca) Elder; two sisters Nona Fox and Jean Lovelace; brother Tommy Fox; and many nieces, nephew and extended family.
Gathering of family and friends Thursday July 2, 2026 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00pm also at Hermitage Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
Tim Kernell, Tate Evans, Andy Lyons, Kevin Wood, Jurell Elder and David Daugherty will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Leo’s name may be made to Youth Incorporated wwwcampyi.org; where Mr. Fox served on the board of directors.
