Mary Nell Creager

She was born in Nashville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Edward Harold Fitts and Nellie Daimwood Fitts. She was a long time resident of Antioch, attended East High and graduated from Hume-Fogg High School. Mary was a successful homemaker and business woman. She loved time spent on the lake, boating, dancing, cooking for family, and fish fries. She attended Methodist churches. Mary will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Jim Creager, and sister, Louise Mason.

She is survived by her children, Russell (Gwen) Creager and Mary Annette (Drew) Wileczek; 12 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; brother, Thomas (Dimple) Fitts, and sister, Sue Fitts.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Hermitage Funeral Home from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and also on Thursday, January 4, 2018 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Hermitage Funeral Home at 11:00 am with Chaplain Aaron Menard from Alive Hospice officiating.

Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson Street, Nashville, Tennessee 37203.
