Mary Ann Sexton, age 83 of Old Hickory, TN passed away May 15, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years, Claude H. Sexton, Jr, her parents, William Thomas & Elsie Ann (Camp) Startup and 16 siblings. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila S. Luckett (Terry); son, Russell (Russ) Sexton (Katrine); grandchildren, Terrence (T.J.) Luckett, Jr and Cara Sexton (Matthew Norman); great-granddaughter, Karen Clarke Norman.
Mrs. Sexton worked for many years as an LPN in the Health Care Industry. She also was a long time Sunday School Teacher at Temple Baptist Church in Old Hickory, TN.
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, May 19, 2016 at Hermitage Funeral Home with Bro. James Hambrick officiating. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Family & Friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm till 8:00 pm Wednesday, May 18, 2016 and 12:00 pm till 2:00 pm on Thursday at the funeral home.
