HUMPHREYS, Mattie Lee, age 93, died March 3, 2013. Preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Ralph Humphreys; brothers, Joe, J.C. and Clifford Horne; sister, Frances Haygood. Survived by her son, Jerry (Evelyn) Humphreys; daughter, Pam (J.B.) Simmons; grandchildren, Jerry (Jennifer) Humphreys, Jr., Christopher (Susan) Humphreys, Matthew (Ingrid) Simmons and Kimberly (Gary) Arnold; great grandchildren, Ryan, Jay, Caleb, Lindsay and Kelsey Humphreys, Camelia, Leigh, Devon Simmons and Emma and Anna Arnold; brother, Ronald (Shirley) Horne; sister, LaVerne (Fred) Templeton; sister-in-law, Verna Horne. Mattie and Ralph were long-time residents of Chattanooga, where they were active members of The Gospel Tabernacle Of Chattanooga. A graveside Service of Praise will be conducted by the family at 1:00 p.m. central standard time, Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in Greenwood Cemetery, Chattanooga, TN.
