She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Elijah Johnson and Alice Beulah Taylor Johnson, and her husband, Parmer Lee Holmes.
Mrs. Holmes is survived by her daughter, Tammy (Tony) Tyler; son, Martin (Patty) Holmes; grandchildren, Jacob Tyler, Taylor Holmes, and Alex Holmes; sisters, Eva Pierce and Nancy Street; and brothers, Harlis (Phyllis) Johnson and Bruce (Faye) Johnson.
The Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Friday, November 2, 2018 at Hermitage Funeral Home at 12:00 pm. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
