WINFREY, Mildred Marie Carney, age 90, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 27, 2014. Preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Lena Mai Carney; four brothers, Vincent, Robert, Herb and Sam Carney; sister, Blanche Bryant; granddaughter, Shelly Claiborne. Survived by her sisters, Catherine Breedlove and Willie Lee Jackson; sons, James (Helen) Winfrey and William (Wanda) Winfrey; daughters, Judy Swindell and Nancy Durden; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Monday, March 31, 2014 in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Whitsey officiating.. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
