ROGERS, Myles Murphy Age 22 of Old Hickory, TN. June 27, 2010. Myles graduated from Pope John Paul II High School in 2006 where he was the captain of the football team. He was a student at UT Knoxville & a fan of UT football. Preceded in death by grandfather, David Rogers. Survived by parents, Tony & Kim Rogers; brother, Kyle Anthony Rogers; grandparents, Richard & Karen Murphy; grandmother, Barbara Rogers; great-aunt, Fern Madden; aunt & uncle, Richard & Eleni Murphy; aunt, Tonya Trowbridge. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by Jody Brothers and Dr. Poly Rouse. Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Brother & friends will serve as Pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pope John Paul II in memory of Myles Roger, 117 Caldwell Drive, Hendersonville, TN 37075. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Hermitage Funeral Home, and two hours prior to the service at Hermitage Hills Baptist Church.
