Pamela Gail Follis, 75, of Old Hickory, Tennessee, passed away on September 12, 2026. Born on August 8, 1951, Pamela will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who knew and loved her.
Pamela was the daughter of Bob and Jean Grubbs and graduated from Antioch High School in 1969. Over the years, she devoted herself to steady, meaningful work—serving as a manager for the Garden Center at WalMart and later driving a school bus for Wilson County schools. In each role, she brought a dependable presence and a caring attentiveness that left a lasting impression on coworkers, families, and the many students who rode her bus. Pamela was also a long time member of Donelson Church of Christ, where her faithful commitment and quiet strength were evident to those who worshiped alongside her.
Pamela is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Denny Follis; her stepson, Jacob Follis (Michele); her grandchildren, Aly Follis, Bailee Follis, Madalyn Follis, and Gavin Follis; her sisters, Annett Avant (Wayne) and Barbara Ledford (Woody); her brother, Rori Grubbs; and her son in law, Aron Papai. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Youngblood and Step Daughter Audrey McCreary.
Visitation will be held at Hermitage Funeral Home, on September 16, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Celebration of Life will follow at Hermitage Funeral Home on September 16, 2026, at 1:00 pm with Bro Mark Powell officiating. Entombment to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens with Jacob & Gavin Follis,Cam Hertz, Aron Papai, John Collier and Wayne Avant serving as pallbearers.
