She was preceded in birth by her brother, John Paul Dodson II, and her sister, Olivia Ann Dodson.
Her first marriage was to William Paxton Fly III. From this union came their daughter, Lesta Ann, who married Mark Kirby. They had one child, Kayla Nicole. Kayla was the joy of Paulette's life.
Paulette later married Tony Freeland, and then Tandy Culpepper.
She is survived by her sister, Olivia, her daughter, Lesta Ann, and her granddaughter, Kayla. She had ten nephews, thirty-eight grandnephews and nieces, and nine great grandnephews and nieces.
The Celebration of Paulette's life will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 10:00 am at Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Ortlund officiating. Immediately following the service will be a brunch in the Woodlawn-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home's event room.
In lieu of flowers, Paulette's wishes were for memorial contributions to be made to Immanuel Church Missions, 4301 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, Tennessee 37209, or at www.immanuelnashville.com/give.
Private Innichement will take place at Hermitage Memorial Gardens for family.
