Sincere condolences in the loss of Peggy. So many good memories of teaching with her at McGavock. In particular, the fun we had playing in the faculty-student basketball games. I can't believe she is gone. Love, prayers and hugs to all.

I had the honor of taking care of Ms. Peggy for the last several months. I remember when I first met her, she was so full of life and so funny! Ms. Peggy and I had a special bond. I knew when I first met her she was a special lady, and she definitely was. Her family was so dedicated to her which really touched me. Ms. Peggy is one I will never forget. She will be deeply missed by all.

Peggy was the life of the party, always. Lots of memories from way back in early 70’s when Bill, Peggy and Renee first came to the Decatur Whitts and the Athens store-up thru the 20 year anniversary party to present day. You’ll be missed by all down here in Alabama. God’s blessings on your wonderful family.

Peg- Always greeted with laughter, a hug. and a kiss on the cheek. The binding agent of family and business and a phrase " your right". One of the most wonderful women I have ever met. Will miss her always.

I remember Mrs. Dean first as my softball coach during middle school at Una Recreation Center then as my Algebra teacher at McGavock High School. She was tough but fair and I learned a lot from her. To her family, I am so sorry to hear of your great loss. Prayers for peace and healing.
