Preston Maurice Jackson Nashville, TN Age 48, unexpectedly passed away at his home on Saturday, February 8, 2014. Preston was born in Clarksville, TN to Wiley Jackson, Jr. and the late Evelyn Jackson on September 27, 1965. He was a 1983 graduate of McGavock High School, and faithfully served in the U.S. Navy from 1983-1986. Preston spent almost 30 years working as a Journeyman Electrician. He is survived by his father, W. Maurice Jackson (Shirley); sister, Anna Withers (Ron); aunt, Betsy Hefner (Harold); nieces, Rachel Cawley (Keith) and Kaitlin Vantrease (Josh). He also leaves behind a beloved, devoted partner, Melissa (Missy) Hooberry, and her children and grandchild, as well as a host of dear friends far too many to mention. A Memorial service is being held at Hermitage Funeral Home on Saturday, February 15th at 3 p.m. His family will receive visitors prior to the service from 1-3 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
