Raymond Matthew Jones, age 81, of Hermitage, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 25, 2021 at 6:10 PM surrounded by his wife and daughter. Raymond is preceded in death by his father, Earl Matthew, mother, Mabel Lena and brother, Rodney Oneal. Raymond is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Lucette W. Jones. He is lovingly remembered by his children Trace Lynn Denning (Candace) and Shelby Denise Crouch. His grandchildren Christian Tyler Denning, Taylor Alexis Denning and Elsie Nevaeh Denning. 4 nieces, 4 nephews, many great nieces, nephews and cousins. Raymond was born in Warren County, Kentucky on August 8, 1940. Raymond was retired from Martha White foods. He was an avid bowler with many 300 games. He enjoyed fishing, football, Nascar, and UK Wildcats basketball. Raymond enjoyed spending time with his family and his 2 little dogs, Abby and Millie. A visitation for Raymond will be held Friday, Oct. 29 from 4:00-8:00PM at Hermitage Funeral Home and Saturday, Oct. 30 from 1:00-2:00PM. Funeral service will be Saturday, Oct. 30 at 2:00 PM followed by burial in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
