Dear Grandaddy,
I love you and miss you.  Here are a few of my memories with you.  Granddaddy, I remember when we would come to your office you would take me back to your refrigerator and let me pick out a soda.  You had several flavors.  I think grape and orange were my favorites.
I always enjoyed hearing the stories about your life in the mountains.  I have created images in my mind of the homes that fit on rail cars and could be moved as needed.  
Granddaddy, I remember your old brown and white station wagon.  I especially liked when I could sit in the very back and look at the traffic behind the car as you drove.
I remember when I was really young you would play with me on the floor. You would lie on your back with your feet in the air and I would lay across your feet and pretend to be an airplane.  It was so much fun!!
One of my earliest memories was of Palm Sunday at your church.  All of the children were given palm branches and we walked around the church waving our palm branches.  It seemed like there were just hundreds of people waving palm branches!
I wonder how many quarters I have earned by eating the last few bites of food at a dinner.  I remember you saying, I'll give you a quarter to finish those beans or tomatoes
I remember our many trips to Opryland.  We had such fun riding the rides together.
We had so much fun on vacations together.  We must have gone to Gatlinburg almost every year when I was young.  I remember taking picnics into the Smokey Mountain National Park.  Granddaddy, you would put a watermelon in the cold creek water to get it cold before we ate it.  We enjoyed playing miniature golf and walking around the little shops.
I remember the trips I took in college and after college when I would come to stay for a few days.  It was fun to visit with you and Grandmommy.
Thank you for taking Mom to church so she could learn to love God and raise her family to love God.  Thank you for loving and serving God and loving your family. I love you. Mary Beth (Agee) Anderson, your granddaughter

Dad,  We have so many wonderful memories of  you and Mother.  You were a loving, caring father with a good sense of humor. You were a hard worker who provided for your family.  We miss you and think about you daily.

What a wonderful legacy and many good memories you have left with us. We will miss you greatly. You have been a part of my life for many years. I am so grateful I had the chance to get to know you and Mary both. Don will miss taking you to Sunday School and I will miss your hugs. We love you and miss you.

Doug and I met the Perryman's in 1975. We fell in love with this family. We are so grateful to have the honor of knowing them.  I remember Mr and Mrs Perryman playing the newlywed game at Karen's Bday party.  They were so cute and funny. Mr Perryman was a pleasure to be around.  God bless Ed, Glenda and Brenda and their families.

I met Mr. Perryman back around the time that he and Ed opened their business. He was such a nice man and I know he will truly be missed by all. Deepest sympathy an God Bless all.

Dad, We have been so fortunate to have you and Mother as part of our lives for so many years.  There are too many wonderful memories to recount here.  Thank you for being such a caring, generous, and loving father and grandfather to us, your grandchildren, and now your great-grandchildren.  Fond memories of you, your influence, and your example will always be with us.  We look forward to seeing you and Mom again in heaven.
