Ricky Eugene Bunch
July 4, 1948 – June 18, 2020
Ricky Eugene Bunch, aka Big Daddy, aka Tricky Ricky, went to be with his beloved wife, Linda and the Lord Thursday, June 18, 2020. Ricky was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Moore Bunch and mother, Delores Green Bunch. He is survived by his father, Eugene Bunch, son, Jason (Missy) Bunch, daughter, Shana (John) Cantrell, adoring grandchildren Trey Cantrell, Sarah Grace Bunch and Garrett Bunch, sisters Lori (Jeff) Bradley, Kathy Hughes, and brother Steve Bunch and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles. Funeral Services for Mr. Bunch will be held at Eleven O’clock on the morning Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Hermitage Funeral Home in Old Hickory, TN. Friends are cordially invited to visitation from Six O’clock to Eight O’clock on the evening of Tuesday, June 23,2020 at Hermitage Funeral Home in Old Hickory, TN. Ricky was born in Rossville, Georgia and moved to Nashville with his parents in 1964 where he met the love of his life, Linda Moore, and they raised two wonderful children together and were absolutely the best mom, dad, and grandparents anyone could have. Ricky worked with his dad in the bridge construction business and became manager for various construction companies; although, his favorite jobs were being “Big Daddy” to his grandchildren, and doing magic shows and dressing like Santa for children. He was a member of Tulip Grove Baptist Church and volunteered with Linda in many activities there. Ricky was a special man and all that knew him loved him. He is now in the presence of our Lord and at peace. Rest well, dear Ricky, until we meet again. We love you, Dad.

I remember Rick when they owned Bunches market in Lavergne. We used to go and hang out and talk to him for hours. He was always there to listen when I needed a friend. His whole family was so very sweet to us. Invited us to their home. God Speed Rick there is a special place in Heaven for you. ❤️🙏🏻✝️🛐

I remember him having the video store on old Nashville highway but before that he has a gas station on Murfreesboro road and he always made sure I had gas in my car and my dad would come by in the evenings and paying for it he will be dearly missed 💔

We lived across the street from Ricky and Linda in the '80's. Jason and our son, Chris were friends. They were great neighbors and well thought of by all our close neighbors. I am so sorry to hear both he and Linda have passed on. My sympathy to the family members. Just know in your hearts that they are together again and in the loving arms of our Lord.

One memory I had of Ricky was when Lori and I went over to his and Linda’s house for some holiday and Ricky taught Lori and I too shoot a shotgun in the air! We were pretty young but he was supervising and no one was in any danger! It was a memory I will never forget!
Love to all the family. My thoughts and prayers are with y’all!

We will certainly miss our favorite Tricky Ricky, Mr. Ricky, Magic Showman, the best Santa Claus ever, and your 'clowning' around personality! We are blessed that you are now with Mrs. Linda, and what a wonderful reunion that had to have been! You two had lots of laughter that was contagious to others. We are also blessed that you are with our Savior Jesus Christ. May He wrap his arms around those left behind on this earth. Jason and Shana, we love you, and we are always here for you! May the memories you made warm your hearts during this difficult time.
Much love and prayers,
Troy and Elaine Feltner
Scott, Amy, Ansley, and Britton McLaurin
Derek, Abby, Spencer, Cody, and Kennedy Hyde
P.S. Red, white, and blue
We deeply miss you.
Ho, Ho, Ho
We love you so!
