Robert Mitchell "Buddy" Bartlett

Buddy was born on September 10, 1938, in Nashville, Tennessee, the son of the late Robert and Mary Katherine Bartlett. He started his business from nothing and ended up being very successful. He was the Owner/Operator of All-Nite Springs. He served our country in the United States Navy. He was a member of Donelson View Baptist Church for several years. He had a great sense of humor and had a lot of friends growing up. He and his wife, Gale, were married for 53 wonderful years and had 3 sons together.

He is survived by his loving wife, Gale McCawley Bartlett; three sons, James Terry Bartlett, Robert Eugene Bartlett and Elijah Butch Bartlett; grandson, Austin Tate Bartlett; daughter-in-law, Patricia Renee Bartlett; sister, Billie Jean Bratcher, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm at Hermitage Funeral Home.

The Celebration of Life Service will follow the visitation at the funeral home at 3:00 pm with Brother Danny Reed of Scenic View Baptist Church officiating.

Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Scenic View Baptist Church in honor of Buddy.
