Robert "Mike" Michael Donovan

Mike was a lifelong resident of Donelson, TN. He is preceded in death by his wife Donna Donovan, father James Donovan Jr., mother Jennie Belle Donovan & brother James “Spud” Donovan III.

Survived by loving daughter & son-in-law Monica & Joseph "JJ" Jaco; grandchildren Andre Goins Jr.(MacKenzie Soon), Ivy Jaco (Chris Stone), Joseph Jaco Jr, Shae Jaco & Daisy Jaco, one great grandchild Baby Goins that is due August 2022. Sisters Nancy Donovan, Angela “Cricket” Reeves, Patsy (Jimmy) Scott & Shaun Donovan. Father-in-law Henderson Smiley Jr, Sister-in-law Sandra Reddy & brother-in-law Jerry Smiley, four legged companions, Jake, Titan & Zoey. Known as Uncle Mike to Ashley, Janessa & Artenner Callis, Rodney “Porky” Durham & many other nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews & one great great nephew. Best friend of sixty plus years Clayton Scott. Many neighbors & friends that became family to him & Donna. Mike was retired after 35 years from Yellow Freight. He was a man of many talents & would always offer a helping hand or a word of advice when needed.

Gathering of Family and friends Tuesday February 15, 2022 from 1:00-3:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will begin at 3:00pm with Pastor Keith Cameron officiating, also at Hermitage Funeral Home. Burial following Hermitage Funeral Home.
