Robert Bauer Hatter Jr., 71 of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, August 31, 2021. He was born on July 3, 1950 in Evanston, Illinois to his parents Robert Bauer Sr and Shirley Johnson Hatter.
Bob was a musician, he played the guitar and toured worldwide with various artists and was a studio musician. He was a graduate of Butler University with a Bachelor's degree from the Jordan School of Music. He was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. Bob had a lot of interests, he enjoyed playing golf, was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed spending his time with his family and friends and will be greatly missed.
Bob is predeceased by his parents Robert B. Hatter Sr and Shirley Johnson Hatter, by his grandparents Gilbert and Myra Johnson and Murrell and Rose Hatter, and by his brother in law Tabb Webster. He is survived by his wife of 31 years Kathryn A. (Kinstle) Hatter, by his son Robert B. Hatter III, by his sister Lynn (Hatter) Webster, by his niece Lara Webster and by his great niece and nephew Bailey and Hunter Webster.
A visitation for Bob will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138. A visitation will occur Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138. A funeral service will occur Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138. Interment will be in Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Nashville Musicians Association Crisis Assistance Fund.
