Robert Lamar Seale

SEALE, Robert Lamar, age 89 of Murfreesboro, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2012. Preceded in death by his parents, Orvil and Mary Seale and sister, Patricia Litson. Survived by his wife of 61 years, Frances; son, Brent L. (Joanne) Seale; daughter, Kimberly (David) Daniel; step-son, Jimmy Adams; granddaughter, Sarah Daniel; brother, Thomas Paul (Karen) Seale; nephew, Shawn (Elizabeth) Seale; nieces, Shelly (Jim) Baird, Sheri (Brad) Lazenby and Cynthia Wagner; many other dearly loved family and friends. Mr. Seale served his country in the Army Air Force during WW II as a radar mechanic with the P-61 Night Fighters (Black Widows). He graduated from Phillips University with a BA degree and America School of Commercial Art. He retired as Supervisor of Editorial Layout and Design for the Baptist Sunday School Board (Lifeway) with 32 ½ years of service. Mr. Seale was a member of First Baptist Church, Nashville for almost 50 years and after moving to Murfreesboro he joined First Baptist Church, Murfreesboro. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2012 in Hermitage Funeral Home Chapel with Pam Pilot and Sam Sanders officiating.
