Roberta was born in Norwood, North Carolina. After college she worked and retired from U.S. Bankruptcy Court. Her faith and family were most important to her. In her free time she enjoyed reading.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Robert L. Holderby; son Derrick Holderby; grandson Patrick Holderby; and granddaughter Hannah Holderby.
Mrs. Holderby is preceded in death by her son Robert Lee Holderby Jr.; parents Roy and Dora Stogner and her brother, Ervin Roy Stogner.
Gathering of family and friends Friday January 16, 2026 from 12:00am-2:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00pm in the Tulip Grove Room at Hermitage Funeral Home. Burial following Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
