

Ronald Dodson, of Lakewood, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones.
Born in Franklin, Tennessee, on December 26, 1949, Ronald was a talented barber and proud barbershop owner who spent many years serving his community and building lifelong friendships. Outside of his work, he found joy in fishing and spending time in the Great Smoky Mountains with his family, a place that always brought him peace and happiness.
Ronnie shared 51 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Patricia Dodson. Together they built a loving family grounded in faith, laughter, and kindness.
He is survived by his son, Michael Dodson and wife Kimberly; his cherished grandchildren, Alexandria (Dodson) Turner and husband Sam, Cristian Dodson, Madison Dodson, Ashely Lily and partner Scott, and Cody Lily and wife Britney. Ronnie also leaves behind many beloved great-grandchildren and one soon-to-be-born great-grandbaby who he would’ve loved dearly.
He is also survived by his brother and sister, Herman Dodson and wife Carol, and Joyce Dodson, along with a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends who will miss him deeply.
He is preceded in death by; his father, Herman Dodson Sr., mother, Edna Clark, brother, Eugene Dodson and sister, Josephine (Dodson) Land.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Green Ridge Church of Christ, 2215 US-41, Greenbrier, TN 37073 from 1 p.m. - 3 p.m. Family is welcome to attend early starting at noon.
