Rose Marie Manes

Rose Marie (Alberts) Manes, age 85 of Hermitage, TN, passed away January 7, 2016. She was born in Rochester, PA on August 9, 1930 to Howard Stanley and Natalina Steparina (Verga) Alberts who precedes her in death. She is also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, David Wilson Manes; sister, Barbara Ethel Alberts. She is survived by her sons, David Keith & wife Michelle and Gary Lee & wife Becky; grandchildren, Angela Renee Muir & husband Matt, Andrew Jordan Manes, Alexandria Natalina Manes, Danielle Leigh Manes and Hollyanne Marie Manes; great-grandchildren, Max David Muir, June Marie Muir and Ruby Ann Muir; brother, Howard Frank "Sarge" Alberts.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm Sunday, Jan 10, 2016 at St. Johns Lutheran Church, 3259 McGavock Pike, Nashville, TN with Pastor Rick Roberts officiating. Serving as active pallbearers will be David Manes, Gary Manes, Andrew Manes, Matt Muir, Al Johnson and Don Simpson. Interment will follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be 2 pm till 5 pm Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016 at Hermitage Funeral Home, 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Johns Lutheran Church.
