Rosemary Portz Spence

Mrs. Spence was a homemaker who enjoyed caring for her husband and raising her children. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and was very civic-minded. She was a member of Hermitage United Methodist Church and really enjoyed her “Anti-Can’t” Sunday School Class. Of all her interests, her greatest joy was her family and, especially, her grandchildren. She loved well . . . was well-loved . . . and will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Spence is preceded in death by her father, Chester Portz; mother, Annabelle (Taylor) Portz; brothers, Carl Portz and Bill Portz; loving husband of fifty-six years, Charles Spence; and granddaughter, Jillian Harris.

Mrs. Spence is survived by her daughter, Judith Spence Morrow; son, Charles Spence, Jr. (Debbie); son, David Spence (Jennifer); grandchildren Jimmy Deane (Tammi), Marianne Deane Houser (Roy), Phillip Morrow (Emily), Sydney Spence, Ramsey Spence; great grandchildren Ben Deane (Sara), Wyatt Deane (Kacy), Kaden Harris, Ava Hailey, Gentry Houser, Huck Houser, Cole Morrow and Faye Morrow; great great grandchildren Ryleigh Deane and Jacob Deane.
