Mr. Royce Eugene Fentress Sr. passed away Sunday, September 22, 2019.

Mr. Fentress Sr. was an accomplished auto body and fender mechanic. In his free time, he enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys. He will be remembered as a man who loved people, especially his family.

He is survived by his children, Kena (Michael) Coleman, Royce (Persephone) Fentress Jr., Horace Fentress, Sherone Fentress, and son-in-law, John Charleston; grandchildren, MyKia Coleman, MyKesha Coleman, Nantambu Fentress, Kiambu Fentress, Cristina Fentress, Matthew Fentress, Phoebe Fentress, John Alex Charleston, Jontinea Charleston, Jonthany Charleston, and John Charleston; great grandchildren, Jamarion Spears, Jon’Tarious Charleston, Jeremiah Taylor, Patience Coleman Claybrooks, and Jonnae’ Charleston.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Senora Fentress, daughter, Vickie Charleston, and grandson, Horace Fentress Jr.

Gathering of Family and Friends will be on Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Hermitage Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Hermitage Funeral Home with Bishop A.E. Harris officiating and Dr. Rev. Portia Wills Lee reading.

Burial to follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
