Sarah Beaty Tuck

Sarah B. Tuck, a resident of Madison, TN for over 55 years died Sunday, November 1st at the Creekside Rehabilitation Center in Madison, TN. Sarah was born in Gorgas, AL on April 28, 1923 and was 92 years old at the time of her death. Preceded in death by 5 sisters and her husband of 50 years, Thomas R.V. Tuck. She loved reading fiction based on the Old South and discussion of politics. Sarah lived and raised her family with her husband in the Madison area but more recently resided at Maybelle Carter Senior Living Community in Madison. Sarah retired as an employee of the Metropolitan Government of Davidson County and also worked for the DuPont Company of Old Hickory, TN. She was a member of the Matthews Memorial United Methodist Church of Madison. Sarah is survived by her sons, Timothy N. Tuck of Simpsonville, S.C. and Martin T. Tuck of Athens, OH; four grandchildren; one sister, Julia Stowe of Birmingham, AL and two brothers, Harrison H. Beaty of Madison and Thomas Alexander Beaty of Auburn, AL. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made in Sarah's name to Matthews Memorial United Methodist Church, 300 Anderson Ln, Madison, TN 37115.
