Shirley Ann Armistead

ARMISTEAD, Shirley Ann, of Hermitage, TN, wife, mother, sister and friend, born December 26, 1935 - passed away November 8, 2010, after a valiant and courageous battle with cancer. Her beautiful smile never left her face. Preceded in death by parents, Andrew Lee and Virgie Odell Mullinax; grandson, Kyle Spencer Foote. Survived by devoted husband of 58 years, Billy Armistead; daughters, Sharon (Terry) Foote, Debbie (Kennie) Jennings, Linda Duke and Tracey (Neal) Hargrove; brother, Clyde Mullinax; 10 grandchildren, Kelly Vernon, Courtney Dye, Jason Jennings, Brandon Jennings, Kayla Jennings, Jamie Walrond, Tabatha Rolen, Christie Walrond, Halston Hargrove and Hutson Hargrove; 4 great grandchildren, Ashley Rolen, Jackson Jennings, Riley Dye and Julia Walrond. A special thanks to John Cail and Alive Hospice. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 11, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Hermitage Funeral Home conducted by Bro. Jim Norton and Jay Voorhees. Pallbearers: Neal Hargrove, Kennie Jennings, Jamie Walrond, Jason Jennings, Brandon Jennings, Kelly Vernon, Paul Rolen and Terry Foote.
