

Stanley Eugene Zeller Sr. died March 15, 2021 at the age of 97 years. He was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. Predeceased by his parents Emil Joseph Zeller and Kathryn Margaret Davidson Zeller, his sister Bettye Zeller Drye, and son Stanley Eugene Zeller Jr. He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Mary Frances Jackson Zeller, by his son Daryl (Carole) Zeller, daughter Melanie (Richard) Wenzler, son Brian (Fran) Zeller, Kenny (Billie) Zeller, son Keith (Lori) Zeller, 13 Grandchildren, Brandon, Keith, Michael, Tami, Wesley, Monica, Jason, Jessica, Tiffany, Elizabeth, Alex, Olivia, Amelia and 19 Great Grandchildren. He is also survived by nieces Terry Turbyfield and Susan Clark, and nephews David, George, and Jerry Drye, and Mark Clark.
Stanley joined the Army Air Corp in 1943 serving through October 1945, then the Army National Guard until being recalled during the Korean War. He retired as a MSgt from the United States Air Force in 1974. He enjoyed building and woodworking and spent years working as Handyman Stan. His hobbies included building and flying model airplanes, serving as President of the Modelers Club in San Vito Air Station, Italy. He also served as President of the Umpires Association for Little League Baseball. He was a square dance caller and served as President of Circle 8 Square Dance Club in Nashville.
Visitation will be from 10-11am on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Hermitage Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens, 535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138, with graveside service with military honors following.
