

He was born on the US Military Base in England, the son of the late James and Mavis Fisher. Steve worked as a technician for Nissan. He has been a member of Mount Juliet Church of Christ since 1992, and was a devout Christian man. He enjoyed bass fishing and being “Pop” to his three grandchildren. Steve had a tremendous love for his family and friends, and he truly made an impact on everyone he met.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cheryl Fisher; children, Megan (Matthew) Burke, Mallory (Kenneth) Byrd, and Matthew Fisher; grandchildren, Elijah Byrd, Ari Byrd, and Hazel Burke; siblings, Beverley (Tony) Cooper, Tony (Danita) Fisher, and Debbie (Bruce) Wimberley, and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be on Monday, December 4, 2017 at Mount Juliet Church of Christ from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm, and also on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
The Celebration of Life Service will be Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Mount Juliet Church of Christ at 2:00 pm with Bro. David Shannon officiating.
Interment will follow at Hermitage Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sherry's Run, P.O. Box 8, Lebanon, TN 37088, www.sherrysrun.org, in memory of Steve.
