Steven Porter La Grand

Steven Porter La Grand, age 70, passed away in Gallatin, Tennessee on February 4, 2018. Steve is survived by his four children (Jennifer Williams, Amanda Turpin, Matthew La Grand and Heather Schroeder), and his loving partner June Lasorsa. Steve is preceded in death by his wife (Debra La Grand), his parents (Mary Juanita La Grand and Hubert La Grand), as well as two brothers (Gary and Robert). Steve is also survived by brothers George Sidney, Philip, Rodney, Donald, and his sisters Linda Carol, Mary and Tina, as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Steve was a proud Vietnam Veteran who loved his God, his family and his country. He could always make you laugh and he will be greatly missed by his family and all the friends he made along the journey.

Rev. Fred Harrison will officiate the ceremony at Hermitage Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens located at 535 Shute Lane, Old Hickory, TN 37138. The funeral will be on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. The Burial then follows at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Nashville, TN at 2:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Steve's life.
