Mamita was born to Felipe Medina and Fresia Silva born on September 6, 1936 in Lima, Peru. Abuelita loved cooking for her family, designing, knitting, writing poetry, and loved music, especially tango. But most of all, he enjoyed reading his Bible and sharing his faith.

Abuelita met her husband Ernesto Salazar as a child in her family's daycare. They married later in life and had their children

Teresa, también conocida como “Mamita” o “Abuelita” se fue a casa con Jesús el 10 de Junio del 2023, a la edad de 86 años. Sus padres fueron Felipe Medina y Fresia Silva, nacio el 6 de Septiembre del 1936 en Lima, Perú. A Mamita le encantaba cocinar para su familia, diseñar, tejer, escribir poesía y amaba la música, especialmente los tangos. Sobretodo, disfrutaba leyendo su Biblia y compartiendo su fe.

Mamita conoció a su esposo Ernesto Salazar en la escuelita de su familia. Casandose años después y formando su familia.
