She was born in Bangor, Maine to the late Fillmore Freemont Hamilton and Phyllis Crosby Hamilton. She graduated from Kubasaki High School in Okinawa, Japan and attended Vermont College. Mrs. Gaimari was a member of a homemakers club and bowling league. She enjoyed quilting and was a fantastic baker. Mrs. Gaimari attended Donelson Heights United Methodist Church where she was a preschool teacher. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and caretaker.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald P. Gaimari.
She is survived by her daughters, Deborah Crowder Vallett (Jeff) of Old Hickory, Susan L. Gaimari of Hendersonville, and Gia M. Gaimari of Nashville; grandchildren, Nathan Deal (Summer) of Hermitage, Elise Dye of Gallatin, Sofia Gandolf of Hendersonville, Shelly Rose (Scott) of Mount Juliet, and Robbie Crowder (Dena) of Murfreesboro; and brother, Richard Hamilton (Mimi) of Raleigh, NC.
Memorial Services for Mrs. Gaimari will be held at Donelson Heights United Methodist Church, 84 Fairway Drive, Nashville, TN 37214 on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 11:00 am with Rev. Regina Hall officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2000 Charlotte Avenue, Nashville, TN 37203.
